HANNIBAL – ADOPTION PENDING

Introducing handsome Hannibal.   Hannibal is a 1 year old male English Mastiff mix who was surrendered to HOPE so he could find a wonderful home that can support him as he grows into the beautiful boy he’s destined to become.  Hannibal came to us with good manners, he knows how to sit, stay and lay down.  He is friendly with other dogs and ignored the office cat, however, due to his size, he should go to a home with out small dogs and any cats must be dog savvy.  This big guy walks nicely on leash and is keeping his kennel run clean, although he would much rather be lounging on a nice comfy couch!!   He does take a few minutes to warm up to new men but seems to like the ladies just fine. Also, due to his size, children in his forever home should be older so the chances of him knocking them down is minimal.  This big guy is a gentle giant who doesn’t know his size.  Hannibal currently weighs in at 140 pounds but he can easily gain another 30 – 60 pounds as his ideal weight when full grown is between 160 and 230 pounds.  Are you looking for a gentle giant to keep you warm during these cold winter days?  Do you want a dog that won’t get lost in the deep snow?  If you answered yes to either of these questions, please stop by to visit with the handsome hunk named Hannibal.
