CELIA MAE *IN FOSTER*

This tiny cutie is CELIA MAE, a 4 month old female who found her way to HOPE all the way from Texas! Here’s her story – two very wonderful humans were heading down to Texas to save a senior dog from the euthanasia list when they saw Celia on that list too… 💔 They knew they had to rescue her too so they reached out to our Animal Care Director for help and without a second thought, she said absolutely, save that baby and we will take her! So now she is being fostered by our Animal Care Director and is doing so well! Despite all she has been through, she is just the happiest, sweetest little puppy in the world. She is currently on antibiotics for an upper respiratory infection as well as a UTI. She also has Coccidia, which is a parasite and she is on medication for that as well. This poor thing has already been dealing with so much that she really truly deserves the most loving home with a family who will give her everything. She’s a very good puppy, she’s smart, playful, silly, she knows sit and knows when it’s time to go potty outside. Although it takes some convincing to go in her kennel for bed time, she does sleep in it through the whole night! She can be mouthy, as most puppies are but just redirecting her to her toys is effortless. She’s very good in the car and typically just curls up and takes a nap! After her long road trip back to the U.P. she’s basically a seasoned traveller now. We would like to find Celia Mae a home with other dogs because she loves to play with them but it would also be good for her to learn the ropes from an older dog. She will probably only grow to be about 30lbs, based on her current age + weight.
