This happy girl is JAZZY, a 6 year old female hound mix that came to us when her owner had to move. The first couple of days were rough for her, she was very scared and hestitant of her new surroundings. With some help from McDonald’s cheeseburgers and chicken nuggets, she realized, hey, we’re not so bad after all! Now she is just the most loving, wiggliest dog ever. She absolutely adores her new caretakers and is doing very well despite her circumstances. She loves attention and wants to be your little sidekick. So far we have observed that she does get a little protective of her space and her people but it’s easily managable. Jazzy came in with another dog who has already found his new home and seems okay with the other dogs here too. Cats and children are still unknown at this time. She’s a medium sized dog, weighing just over 50lbs right now but she should be more like 45lbs at a healthy weight.
