Arrived 9-4-26
This pretty feline is MAGNOLIA, a 2-3 year old female who was brought to us after being discovered in someone’s barn with her 5 kittens. Her kittens are all finding their homes and now it’s her turn to find her family! She is a sweet, easy-going, lovable cat who is comfortable with all of us and very tolerant with being handled. To be honest, she seems to prefer her human companions over other cats but it could also be that her hormones are still adjusting after having kittens. We will assess more as time goes on but so far we’ve noticed she gets a little grumpy when other cats come near her. She might be okay with another respectful cat who minds it’s own business though! Dogs and children are still unknown but we feel she could adjust to either.

This pretty girl is SHIRLEY, a 1-2 year old female who was found as a stray and never claimed. When Shirley first came in we had thought she was pregnant so we held off on posting her, turns out she wasn’t! We suspect she was just enjoying the extra attention and wet food she was getting. 😅 She’s a very lovable cat who warmed up to us in no time. She’s still young so she’s very playful, silly and absolutely loves to be pet! She’s also an independant gal who would love a home where she can happily roam around and explore but also have a family that will give her a lot of attention and affection! She seems to be particular about her cat friends, we will assess this more now that she’s in the cat room with everyone else. She might do okay with another independent, calm cat in the house. Dogs and kids are unknown but we feel she would probably be fine living with children since she is so sweet.

This handsome guy is TWISTER, a 5-6 year old male cat that was left at the shelter in a carrier so we do not have any history or information on him. We can only guess his age but he looks to be around that and he has a very calm, sweet demeanor. While Twister is very nice, he is also very shy and still likes to hide in his tent most of the day. He gladly accepts pets so we feel like he will come around, it’ll just take him some time to warm up to us. He’s still unsure of his surroundings and we don’t blame him, who knows what could have happened to him before he came to us. We have all quickly fallen for him because he’s such a nice guy and we hope he finds the perfect person to take him home soon! We will update as time goes on!
Arrived 7-23-26
This cutie is SCORPION, about an 8 month old female cat that was brought in as a stray. We initially thought Scorpion was a male, hence the name, but come to find out it’s a girl! We decided to keep the name anyway. This poor thing is still so scared here at the shelter but is very slowly starting to warm up and accepting little pets here and there. It will definitely take some time for her to feel 100% comfortable in a home. She’s so young we assume it’s just from a lack of human interaction and socialization. She does seem curious about the other cats here, especially the kittens, so we feel she would greatly benefit from going to a multi-cat household where they can show her the ropes and help her build confidence! We will share updates as we continue working with her.
Arrived 7-11-26
This pretty feline is POPPY, a 1 year old female cat that came to us as a stray with her 6 kittens. Her kittens have all found homes and now it’s her turn! Poppy is having a really hard time here with all of the noise and constant movement. She is still absolutely terrified of her surroundings and does not allow us to touch her yet but we do sit and talk to her to let her know she is safe with us. We would love to find Poppy a quiet home, whether it’s permanent or a foster home, where she can decompress and learn to feel comfortable with humans. This poor girl has been through so much and she just needs a calm environment to finally relax in. We will keep updating with progress as times goes on.
UPDATE 9/29/26 – Poppy recently went to the vet to be spayed and we had her tested for FIV/Feline Leukemia and she did test positive for FIV. With that being said, Poppy will need to be the only cat in the home, which she doesn’t seem to like other cats anyway, so she wouldn’t mind!

This pretty feline is MAY, a 4-5 year old female that came in as a pregnant stray and was never claimed. We quickly got May into a foster home where she could decompress and have her kittens in a quiet place and now they are all back at the shelter looking for their forever homes! When she initially came into the shelter she was very scared but still sweet so after giving birth and living in a home for a couple of months, she has really come a long way! She loves to be pet but doesn’t like to come out of her cage yet and is still hestitant on being picked up but it has only been about a week since she’s been back so it’s completely understandable. We feel once she’s in a home and can have her own space, she will warm up quickly and be a very loving cat! This poor girl has been through so much and just needs someone willing to allow her the freedom and independence she so badly needs.

This handsome guy is LEONARDO, a 1-2 year old male cat that was brought to HOPE so that he could find a good home. When he first came to the shelter, he was shut down and scared but still very, very sweet and now only about a week later, he is slowly coming around! While he prefers his cubby hole, he has been coming out more and more and sitting on his perch instead. He’s a gentle boy that likes to be pet and doesn’t seem to have a mean bone in his body. We will update as time goes on but we have a feeling that’s just his personality – he’s a calmer cat even for his young age.

This handsome fella is FRAZETTA, a 5 year old male that was brought in as a stray and was never claimed. Poor FRAZETTA came to us in pretty rough shape, he had big sores behind his ears as well as lots of scabs on his head which we suspect was just from fighting all of the other male cats on the streets. His skin has improved a lot since being here and now his fur is finally starting to grow back. He is having a bit of a hard time with the shelter environment though, he likes to hide for the most part and doesn’t love being pet although he occasically accepts the attention. We would love to find him a quiet home where he can just decompress, learn that not all humans are bad and that he can feel safe with them. We believe he was probably a stray cat his whole life so it may take him quite some time to fully come around. Unfortunately, FRAZETTA is FIV+ so he would need to be the only cat in a home or in a home with other FIV+ cats.

This sweet guy is MONET, a 1-2 year old male cat that was brought in as a stray with 6 others and never claimed. MONET is the shyest out of all of them but even though he’s a little more timid, he’s still a sweetheart and allows us to pick him up and handle him. He’s a very gentle cat with a nice, calm demeanor but as time goes on, he could come out of his shell and show us his wild side (if he has one)! He seems unbothered by the other cats here so would probably do okay in a home with kitty friends. As of now, we feel a home with older children might be better for him, just because he is still a little unsure of everything but again, as time goes on, that may change! Dogs are unknown but since he is still young and with proper introductions, a home with calmer dogs may be okay as well.

This beautiful feline is SAPPHIRE, a 10 year old female cat that was surrendered to HOPE when her owner had to move into a nursing home. SAPPHIRE was with her owner her whole life so she is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the shelter life. She is VERY sweet and affectionate but still prefers to hide under her bed most of the day. We’re confident she will start coming out more as time goes on but we would also love to just find her a forever home as soon as possible! She would do best in a quiet home with a single person or couple that have no other animals and no young children.
