PICASSO

Arrived 4-25-26

This little cutie is PICASSO, about a 1 year old male cat that was brought in as a stray with 6 others and never claimed. Since he is new to us, we are still learning about his personality and demeanor but so far, he’s been nothing but sweet, loving and affectionate! He’s a young cat that would like lots of toys to play with but also just a window to perch in and relax. He seems to prefer the cats that he initially came in with over the other cats in the room but he may warm up to them soon as everything is still so new to him. He would probably do okay with children of all ages as well as dogs, with proper introductions.

BONSAI

Arrived 4-23-26

This gorgeous young guy is BONSAI, about a 1 year old (or just under) male cat that was brought to HOPE as a stray and never claimed. BONSAI came in with another female cat that we suspect is either his sibling or his mom since they look almost identical. He’s still getting used to being here and is a little on the shy side but is very, very sweet and doesn’t mind being pet or picked up. We have a feeling he will be very affectionate once he warms up a little more! He’s a playful cat but also has a pretty calm demeanor considering he’s only around a year old. He seems to like the other cats around him, would probably be okay with children of all ages but we have yet to see him around dogs so that is still TBD.

MILO – ADOPTION PENDING

Arrived 4-2-26

This is MILO, a 13-14 year old male cat that was surrendered to HOPE so that he could find a home that better fits his needs. He was taken in by someone whose friend could no longer care for him and unfortunately their cats in the home were bullying him and he was having a hard time there. They wanted him to find a nice, quiet home where he wouldn’t be stressed out and we are grateful that they did what was best for him. He’s just been the sweetest, calmest, most gentle cat and we would really love to see him go to a home that will just spoil him for the rest of his life. He did come in with some eye issues that we are currently treating with eye meds and will continue to monitor while he is here. While a home all to himself would be nice for him, we do feel like a home with other senior or calm, friendly cats might be okay too as he doesn’t seem to mind the other cats here.

SAPPHIRE

Arrived 3-10-26

This beautiful feline is SAPPHIRE, a 10 year old female cat that was surrendered to HOPE when her owner had to move into a nursing home. SAPPHIRE was with her owner her whole life so she is having a little bit of a hard time adjusting to the shelter life. She is VERY sweet and affectionate but still prefers to hide under her bed most of the day. We’re confident she will start coming out more as time goes on but we would also love to just find her a forever home as soon as possible! She would do best in a quiet home with a single person or couple that have no other animals and no young children.

WALTER

Arrived 2-3-26

UPDATE 5/1 – WALTER has made really great progress within the last couple of weeks. One of our wonderful volunteers has been working on brushing him (which he really needs it) and he is happily allowing her to do so! He enjoys the little squeeze tubes of wet food and is also really starting to enjoy being pet by multiple staff members/volunteers! He is SO much happier than when he first came in and it makes US really happy to see it. We also have some pretty vocal cats in the cat room at the moment and sometimes he’ll sit there and chirp back at them which is really cute. 🙂

This sweet guy is WALTER, about a 10 year old male cat that was brought in as stray and never claimed. Poor WALTER came to us in pretty rough shape, his eyes were practically glued shut from all of the gunk built up in them. We started him on eye meds and continue to clean them out almost daily and they seem to be clearing up a fair amount.  He doesn’t love being handled yet so it does make it a little difficult but he is much more reluctant to be pet when the cat room is calm and quiet. He has shown us a little bit of affection here and there so we’re very hopeful he will come around sooner than later. We would love to find WALTER a nice, quiet home that will allow him to adjust and come out of his shell on his own time. We don’t know what happened to him out on the streets but we can only imagine he’s had a pretty rough life. He seems curious about the other cats here so maybe a home with other feline friends will help him feel more comfortable!

EVEE

Arrived 10-7-25

UPDATE 4-7-26*** EVEE has become the new office cat and since being moved from the cat room she is doing absolutely AMAZING! To our surprise, she is very, very affectionate and wants all of the attention from her human caretakers! She wants all of the pets now, loves to “help” with computer work aka, get in the way of the screen while we’re trying to work and jump on our laps. We are thrilled to know that she truly just had a hard time being around the other cats and is now a total lover! She will make someone a wonderful companion cat as long as she’s the only one!

This pretty gal is EVEE, a 7 year old female cat that was surrendered to H.O.P.E. because she was not getting along with the other resident cats. EVEE is a sweet cat but she does take a little bit to warm up to new people and seems to prefer pets and affection at her choosing. Since she was surrendered for not getting along with other cats, it would be best that EVEE be the only cat in the home. If you’re looking for a companion that doesn’t necessarily want to be squeezed and picked up all of the time, but will still come to you for pets, EVEE is your girl!

DETECTIVE CAT, M.D.

Arrived 5-17-25

This sweet feline is DETECTIVE CAT, M.D. a 3 year old female cat that was live trapped and brought into the shelter so she could find a new home of his own.  Since DETECTIVE CAT, M.D. came in without an owner, we don’t have much information on her, but so far she is friendly with her new human caretakers and seems to be okay around the other cats in her area. Please stop by to meet this sweet feline and see if DETECTIVE CAT, M.D. might be a good fit for your home and family.

TEMPLE

Arrived 9-14-24

This handsome feline is TEMPLE a 2 year old male cat that was brought in as a stray and not reclaimed.  TEMPLE is taking his time getting comfortable with the humans who are caring for him and is slowly warming up to people and adjusting to his new surroundings.  Because TEMPLE came in as a stray, not much is known about him.  Please stop by to meet this shy guy and see if your home might be the perfect fit for this handsome feline.
